Even though Elvis Presley has been gone for over 30 years, Jim Jinelli will turn back the clock and, in the bat of an eye, Elvis will come alive. Jim has a powerful, commanding voice and a remarkable vocal range. Jim’s portrayal of Elvis Presley covers the touring concert years of 1971-1977. His performance will be on Sunday, May 15 at 1:30 p.m. at the Catherine Hickman Theater at 5501 27th Ave. S. in Gulfport.
Jim Jinelli, a Chicago native, has been impersonating Elvis Presley for more than 20 years. He is a seasoned professional who has performed for a wide variety of audiences over the years, from nightclubs, casino showrooms and performing arts theaters to civic centers, auditoriums and convention centers..
Jim has appeared on TV and radio in many markets, from Chicago to New York to Orlando. Today, Jim Jinelli can be found onstage throughout the state of Florida, the Midwest and southeastern United States. He has met and worked with many people who knew and worked with Elvis Presley, including Jerry Schilling, Joe Esposito, Sonny West, Dick Grob, D.J. Fontana, Scotty Moore, Gordon Stoker, Charlie Hodge, Myrna Smith, Sherrill Nielsen, Cynthia Pepper, and many more.

Jim’s concerts have sold out at several venues, such as the Largo Cultural Center, the Osceola Center for the Arts, and the 31st Annual Elvis Presley Convention in Orlando. he has also worked to raise money for various charity events. As a seasoned Presley performer, he has performed at fundraisers for children’s charities, homeless missions, hurricane and tornado victims, cancer research benefits, volunteer fire departments, Seniors and Veterans organizations, to name a few.
Just as Elvis covered many more songs in his concerts than his own, so does Jim, offering the audience “A Concert Experience” as close to the original as possible, while capturing the charm and charisma of the “King of Rock and Roll”. He is a talented musician, proficient in guitar, piano, and percussion.
