Gerard Grady Named Paramedic of the Year

Gulfport Paramedic and Firefighter Gerard Grady was named 2011 Paramedic of the Year by the Gulfport Fire Chief and Gulfport Fire Department.

Gulfport Firefighter and Paramedic Gerard Grady was chosen as Paramedic of the Year for 2011 for his skills and positive attitude. 

Firefighter and Paramedic Grady is the senior Paramedic in the Gulfport Fire Department, a Driver/ Engineer, an Acting Lieutenant, a CPR Instructor, a Preceptor with St. Petersburg College and is responsible for the Special Needs Evacuation list.

Grady recieved the award during a ceremony this past weekend.

"Gerard is a role model to all in our agency with attention to detail, outstanding bedside manners, and flawless medic skills," Lt. Erick Fuchs shared.
