5 Things to Know in Gulfport: Aquamania, Weekend Events, Friday Forecast

We have Aquamania on Saturday, Food Truck Festival on Friday and more in "5 Things to Know Today."

Aquamania: Lori Rosso, President of the Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce, has put together an awesome "Aquamania Survival Guide" for Saturday's events at the Gulfport Beach and The Point (Behind the Gulfport Recreation Center). There will be games, activities and live music all day! Don't forget, there will be a dunk tank and yes, Gulfport Patch Editor Cherlene Willis has agreed to take part! The event is free and runs from 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Check out the guide for more information.

Food Truck Festival: Everyone is invited to the 4th Friday Food Truck Festival on Corey Avenue in St. Pete Beach! It's tonight from 5:30 - 9:30 p.m. Yes, ther are plenty of food trucks to choose from, but there's also going to be vendors and live music. The event is free but be sure to bring plenty of cash for food!
