Gulfport Fresh Market Cancelled
Tropical Storm Debby is putting a dent in our normal Tuesday plans in Gulfport. The weekly Fresh Market is cancelled due to severe weather.
Although the Gulfport Fresh Market is cancelled for Tuesday, June 26, organizer Daniel Hodge says some vendors may set up shop anyways. Those with perishable foods have been known to set up tables and tents at their own risk on Beach Boulevard before. The market's normal hours are 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Hodge says the Blood Drive scheduled for Tuesday has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 31. Hodge urges everyone to check the market's Facebook page for updates: www.facebook.com/gulfportfreshmarket.
"We apologize for the inconvenience and will plan on seeing you next Tuesday, July 3rd," Hodge wrote to Patch.
