Marina to Offer Storage Space

The marina will soon be available to boarders and paddlers of all kinds to store their gear for a fee.

On Tuesday night, the city made a unanimous decision to free up space at the marina for storage. Effective immediately,

According to Harbor Master, Denis Frain, the storage space will allow for kayaks, canoes and/or paddleboards to be secured at the marina. Each device will cost the same amount to store, $15 per month. Each device will be secured to the new, aluminum kayak rack located inside the marina. However, users will be responsible for locking down their own board, kayak or canoe.

Along with the storage unit, the $15 per month will give the user access to all of the marina's amenities: showers, sundries, tackle and restrooms.
