Patch Minute: Halloween Haunt, Oktoberfest Event, Jannus Live
From an annual fall festival to an evening party downtown, we have a few suggestions on how to spend your weekend in this week's Patch Minute.
St. Pete Beach:
You don't have to wait until Oct. 31st to hunt down candy . . or other treats for that matter. Children of all ages are invited to the annual Halloween Egg "Haunt" on Saturday, Oct. 13 at 11 a.m. Hunt for orange and black eggs int he pool and go trick or treating on the pool deck. It's just $4 per person.

Before Halloween is here, there’s another not-so-spooky way to celebrate the fall: the German holiday of Oktoberfest!
In Gulfport, Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church kicks off their annual festival on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. The fall festival has been an annual event in Gulfport for more than 30 years. There will be rides, games, raffles, food, drinks and more on now through Sunday at 5800 15th Ave S. Check out the following dates and times:

- Thursday, 6 -11 p.m.
- Friday, 4 - 11 p.m.
- Saturday, 1-11 p.m.
- Sunday, 1 - 8 p.m.

Downtown St. Pete:
And for the nightowls and party animals, head to Downtown St. Pete. We have two events going on at Jannus Live. The Foam & Glow Party is on Friday at 9 p.m. and Sean Paul will perform on Saturday, Oct. 13. The Foam & Glow party will feature high-energy music, ultraviolet dancers and fire performers. Tickets range from $20 to $30. Tickets for Sean Paul are $25 in advance or $30 the day of the show.
