Look Who Sits – and Stays! – on Santa's Lap
Saturday at Tangelo's, pets lined up to sit on Santa's lap. There's no telling what was on their wish list, but rawhide and chew toys are a pretty good guess.
For $12, pet owners received a printed photo of their pup with the man in red. Since it was for charity, an extra dollar earned them an emailed copy for additional printing. Pet friends greeted each other before sitting on Santa’s lap. Some were decked out in their own holiday attire while others were just happy for the opportunity. The money from the photo-opp was donated to a local animal rescue group, Limbo Chihuahas; the organization is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of chihuahuas.
