Sunday Sunset: Healing Inspiration
We want to see your photos! We know we live in paradise and part of that is enjoying a beautiful sunset everyday. We want you to send in your sunset photos from around the area and every Sunday, we'll share it on Gulfport Patch.
Welcome to your Sunday Sunset, a weekly photo feature that reminds us to take a moment and appreciate what it means to live in Gulfport.
Patch reader and Facebook friend Hiro Shimoyama sent in three photos this week. All three were taken on the Walter and Bert Williams Fishing Pier in Gulfport. Hiro used a Nikon Coolpix L24 3.4 Optical Zoom to capture these sunsets.
Hiro named the photo of the heron "Phoenix," the photo of the boats "Sunset and Seagull" and the photo of the clouds "The Little Mermaid in the sky."

Hiro writes that he is "so inspired by the climate and people here." He adds that he's recently become ill and disabled and started dialysis about 10 months ago. He moved to Gulfport one month ago and writes, "Gulfport has been healing me spiritually and physically."
