Volunteers Needed to Clean up Clam Bayou, Downtown Gulfport

Clam Bayou Cleanup: Friday, June 29 at 8 a.m.

Liz Poloney is helping organize a cleanup event today at Clam Bayou. Volunteers are asked to meet at 8 a.m. ready to pick up trash and debris that was washed into the bayou by Debby. Downtown Gulfport Cleanup: Saturday, June 30, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Sandy Duffy is organizing a community cleanup to help beautify downtown Gulfport just in time for the 4th of July Celebration. Volunteers can meet in front of the Industrial Arts Center at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 30. The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. - 1 p.m., so you're encouraged to come when you can.
