2 Men Charged With 2nd-Degree Attempted Murder In Bartow Shooting
Bartow police have arrested two men in connection with a shooting Tuesday that injured one person.
BARTOW, FL — Bartow police have arrested two men in connection with a shooting Tuesday that injured one person.
At 3:44 p.m., police responded to a call of shots fired in the area of 222 W Ethelen Ave. in Bartow and found a man who had been shot in the arm. He told police four people had been involved in the assault on him.
He was taken to Lakeland Regional Medical Center to be treated while crime investigators processed the scene, including a business and adjacent parking lot.

On Wednesday, Bartow police announced the arrest of two people in connection with the shooting. Tommy Almoza, 21, and Ezekeil Burch, 18, were charged with second-degree attempted homicide.
Police also confiscated a cache of weapons from the two men.
