Lakeland Man Charged With DUI Manslaughter
Stephen W. McCullough was charged with DUI manslaughter following a Sunday night crash that killed a Plant City woman.
LAKELAND, FL —A 40-year-old Lakeland man has been arrested following a Sunday night crash that took the life of a Plant City woman. Stephen W. McCullough was charged with DUI manslaughter, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 9:20 p.m. along the eastbound lanes of Interstate 4 at milepost 28 in Polk County, FHP said.

McCullough of the 6600 block of Brookridge Trail, was allegedly driving his 2011 Chevrolet Traverse at a high rate of speed.
FHP said McCullough crashed into the rear of Gloria Daniel's 2014 Chevrolet Suburban which overturned multiple times before coming to rest in the center median.

McCullough's Traverse came to rest in the center median several hundred feet east of the Suburban, according to FHP.
Daniel of the unit block of Plum Street in Plant City, was taken to an area hospital where she later died of her injuries.
