Lakeland Snowfest 2016: Arts and Crafts Vendors Wanted
The City of Lakeland's Parks and Recreation Department is gearing up for the 36th annual Snowfest.

LAKELAND, FL — Tampa Bay area residents with a crafty side who are looking for a little pre-holiday cash might want to reach out to the City of Lakeland. Its parks and recreation department is gearing up for the 36th annual Snowfest and is in need folks to display and sell artisanal and hand-crafted items.
Snowfest 2016 is set to take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 3 in Munn Park, 201 E. Main St. The downtown park will be transformed into a winter wonderland with two snow mountains for visitors to play on. Word has it Santa Claus also intends make a guest appearance. In addition, the city plans entertainment for kids, inflatables and lots of food vendors.
The vendor village is where arts and crafts vendors will set up for the event. This year’s village will have a focus on hand-crafted, artisanal goods, according to an email from the city.

For families with plans to attend, the cost of admission to the snow mountains is a donated canned food item or $1. Donations benefit local charities.
