Man Waving Rifle Near Road Faces Aggravated Assault Charges

WINTER HAVEN, FL — A man was arrested on multiple charges April 7 when police saw him walking along U.S. Highway 17 waving a rifle, a Winter Haven news release said.

At 3:10 p.m., officers saw the 24-year-old suspect, Andrew Bradley, homeless, in the area of Avenue R SW with a gun in his hands. Police told him to stop, but he ran away, according to investigators. Law enforcement officials caught up with him shortly afterward.
