Plane Landed On Polk Parkway, Driver And Passenger Safe
Traffic was tied up Thursday after a plane landed in the median on the Polk Parkway.
LAKELAND, FL — A small plane landed safely on the grass shoulder of the Polk Parkway near exit 4 Thursday afternoon, the Lakeland Police Department said.
No one was injured, police said.
Drivers experienced delays as authorities placed the airplane on a trailer.
