Polk County Early Voting 2016: Where to Cast Your Ballot

LAKELAND, FL — Polk County voters with no desire to stand in lines come Nov. 8 can cast their ballot in the 2016 General Election early. The county’s early voting period opens Monday, Oct. 24 and runs through Nov. 6.

Early voting locations established by the Polk County Supervisor of Elections Office are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily throughout the period. Here are the locations early voters can cast their ballots:

Elections Branch Office at Deer Creek Crossings

• 42653 Highway 27, Davenport

Elections Branch Office at Orange Grove Shopping

• 1376 State Road 60 E., Lake Wales

Gill Jones Center

• 3425 Lake Alfred Road, Winter Haven

Mulberry Civic Center

• 901 N.E. 5th St., Mulberry

Poinciana Community Center

• 395 Marigold Ave., Poinciana

Polk County Government Center

• 930 E. Parker St., Lakeland

Polk Street Community Center

• 1255 Polk St., Bartow

Simpson Park Community Center

• 1725 Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., Lakeland

In order to vote in the general election, people must have registered on or before Oct. 18, 2016. Voters should bring a current and valid photo and signature ID with them to the polls. Acceptable forms of identification include, but are not limited to, a Florida driver’s license or state identification card, public assistance ID, military ID and concealed weapons license.
