The suspect is seen on surveillance video reaching into a customer's purse at A.S. Food Mart, 1737 Indian Rocks Rd., on April 20. She took a wallet containing credit cards and about $900 in cash, police said. The victim tried to stop the suspect, who fled in a white, four-door older-model sedan.
The suspect is described as a black woman, about 20 to 30 years old, between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-5 and weighing between 150 and 170 pounds. (See the attached photos.)
