Largo Police Launch Mobile App

The police department is looking to increase engagement with Largo residents.

LARGO, FL – Contacting the Largo Police Department has only been a phone call away. But now, having full service access to the police department is at its residents’ fingertips.

The Largo Police Department announced it launched a new app for cell phones. The Largo Police app will allow residents to engage with the police department with features like department statistics, news and events, missing and wanted people, and various links to other pertinent law enforcement information.

The app will also allow residents to leave a message to commend an officer.

The mobile app, which was initiated by Chief Jeffrey Undestad and other department personnel, is in a preliminary phase and is still a work in process.
