Pinellas Bark in the Park Focuses On Puppy Adoption
The event takes place this weekend at Walsingham Park.

LARGO, FL – Pinellas County Animal Services will feature its best, brightest and youngest dogs that are ready to go home to a loving family.
Animal Services will host its Bark in the Park – Puppy Edition on Saturday, March 11 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Pavilion 1 in Walsingham Park, 121615 102nd Ave. in Largo.
The event is dedicated to available puppies that are returning from foster care. All puppies will be available to adopt for $75 and will be able to go home the same day.

All adoptable dogs receive a medical checkup, spaying/neutering, vaccinations, internal and external parasite control, heartworm tests, feline leukemia testing and microchipping, valued at $200.
Staff and volunteers from Pinellas County Animal Services will be on hand during Bark in the Park for any questions and to assist with interactions.

“We would like to remind those interested that a pet is a long-term commitment and our priority is to place our animals with responsible pet owners,” said Doug Brightwell, the director of Pinellas County Animal Services.

Pinellas County Animal Services is located at 12450 Ulmerton Road in Largo. Its regular hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. with the adoption center closing at 5:30 p.m. Saturday hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with adoptions available.
