Roosterfish Grill Opening Soon in Largo

The casual seafood restaurant on Missouri Avenue is scheduled to open sometime in early May.

The Roosterfish Grill, a casual seafood restaurant moving into the property at 776 Missouri Ave. in Largo, will open sometime in early May, according to officials and the company's Facebook page.

The owners are busy putting the finishing touches on the place in preparation for the opening, converting what used to be Balla's Steak House into a family friendly, marine-themed dining area.

Fred Hurley, who has extensive restaurant experience operating a number of successful eateries in the Bradenton area, said he expects to have a soft opening in early May to be followed by a grand opening in June.
