State Gives Two Largo Schools Wrong Grade
Bardmoor Elementary and Fitzgerald Middle schools go from a B to an A after the Florida Department of Education admits a mistake.

and are among the 213 schools across Florida whose school grades, based on FCAT scores and other factors, were incorrectly calculated, the Department of Education admitted Friday.
Bardmoor and Fitzgerald both but were upgraded to an A. Bardmoor had been graded an A school in 2011, while Fitzgerald had been a C school.
The letter grades are part of a complex formula that heavily weighs on FCAT scores, and the grade determines the amount of funding a school receives.
