1. Briarwood Development Agreement Approved by City Commission

The Largo City Commission voted unanimously on Tuesday to approve a development agreement for the Seminole Boulevard RV park, paving the way for an apartment complex to be built on the site. More than a dozen residents met outside City Hall before the decision to plead for their homes to be saved.

2. Battered Toddler Dies of Injuries

The 2-year-old child was admitted to All Children's Hospital with severe chest injuries and brain damage early Sunday morning, according to Largo Police.

4. Police: Beer Can Battery Blackout Leads to Purse Snatching

A Largo man hit a woman with a beer can, causing her to black out, before stealing her purse and leaving on his bike, according to Largo Police.

5. Florida Top Dog Cheerleading Squad is Best in the Nation

One team from the Starkey Road gym won first place in last weekend's Summit competition in Orlando, while a another team took home a second place banner.
