2 Men Killed,1 Child Injured In Head-On Crash On Gunn Highway
Both men were pronounced dead at the scene and an 8-year-old child is in critical condition.

ODESSA, FL — Two men were killed and an 8-year-old child seriously injured Saturday in a head-on crash on Gunn Highway between Van Dyke Road and Wayne Road, deputies said. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene and the child is in critical condition.
About 12:46 p.m., Terry Lee Bronschidle, 70, of Tampa, was driving his 2017 red Chevy Traverse southbound on Gunn Highway, north of Wayne Road. Spencer Theodore Schertt-Barnes, 25, of Odessa, was driving a black 1999 Ford Ranger northbound on Gunn Highway. Bronschidle entered the northbound lane causing the Chevy Traverse to strike the Ford Ranger head on.
The injured child, identified as Callie Fowler of Odessa, was seated in the front passenger seat of the Ford Ranger. Callie Fowler was transported to a local hospital. All parties were wearing seat belts.
