Clearwater Motorcyclist, 70, Killed In Crash On Interstate 75

DADE CITY, FL — A 70-year-old Clearwater man died Tuesday when his motorcycle struck the side of a semi-tractor trailer truck on the entrance ramp from Blanton Road to Interstate 75 in Dade City.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 7:25 p.m., the motorcyclist was traveling south on the entrance ramp onto I-75 when he merged into the outside lane occupied by the truck driven by a 47-year-old man from Troy, Montana, and struck the side of the truck.

The motorcyclist died at the scene.
