Dade City Motorcyclist Killed In Crash On Wire Road, U.S. 301

PASCO COUNTY, FL — A motorcyclist from Dade City was killed after crashing on Wire Road at the intersection of U.S. 301 Monday, reported the Florida Highway Patrol.

At 11:27 a.m., a Chevy Silverado driven by an 82-year-old man from Brutus, Michigan, was heading west on Wire Road and stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of U.S. 301.

The Harley-Davidson motorcycle, driven by a 53-year-old man, was heading north on U.S. 301.

At the intersection, the Chevy failed to yield and entered the path of the motorcyclist, said troopers. The motorcyclist died at the scene.
