Fire Devours Large 2-Story Home In Dade City; No Injuries Reported
Command personnel on the scene called for a second alarm, summoning additional firefighters due to the size of the home.

DADE CITY, FL — Pasco County firefighters from Battalion 4 were called to the 39000 block of Vickie Lane in Dade City when a large two-story home caught fire Sunday night.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they reported fire and smoke coming from the house and quickly searched for anyone inside before starting firefighting efforts.
Command personnel on the scene called for a second alarm, summoning additional firefighters due to the size of the home. It took firefighters about an hour to get the fire under control, and firefighters stayed on the scene for hours putting out hot spots.

There were no injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
