Hudson Motorcyclist, 75, Killed In Crash On Interstate 75 In Dade City

DADE CITY, FL — A 75-year-old motorcyclist from Hudson was killed Sunday night while attempting to merge onto Interstate 75 south of Blanton Road.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 6:35 p.m., the motorcyclist was trying to merge from the entrance ramp onto I-75 when he was struck by a car driven by a 24-year-old Tampa man.

Troopers said the motorcycle continued into the center lane where it was struck again by a pickup truck driven by a 78-year-old Brandon man.

The motorcyclist was flown by medical helicopter to the hospital where he died.

There were no other injuries in the crash.
