Lifestyle Family Fitness Lutz May See Influx of Members

A few months ago, Carrollwood-Northdale Patch reported that Lifestyle Family Fitness in Northdale would be one of many Tampa Bay locations to close its doors after being bought out by LA Fitness.

On Thursday, a note posted on the door of Lifestyle Family Fitness off Mapledale Boulevard informed gym patrons that the takeover had begun.

Regulars of the Northdale Lifestyle location are being asked to head a few miles north to the LA Fitness in Lutz at 17631 N. Dale Mabry near Van Dyke Road.

Here's what the note on the door of the Northdale location said:

"ATTENTION MEMBERS

The club will close permanently and the membership will relocated on Oct. 15th, 2012 at 2pm to our Lutz @ N. Dale Mabry Hwy club located at the corner of Dale Mabry and Van Dyke:

17631 N. Dale Mabry Hwy

Lutz, FL 33548

Your membership is good at all the Florida clubs (with the exception of clubs designated Athletic and Signature).

We will see you at the club!"
