National Robotics Championship Goes To Steinbrenner High Robotics Team
The Steinbrenner JROTC Robotics Team was the first Florida team to win the national championship.
LUTZ, FL β JROTC students from Steinbrenner High School returned to school this week singing a new tune: "We are the Champions."
The Steinbrenner students went up against 130 teams from Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Space Command JROTC units at the JROTC Robotics National Championship @ VEX Worlds in Dallas, Texas, last week, and swept the competition.
Teams were placed in two divisions to play in 10 qualification rounds before facing off for the national title. The teams were randomly selected as partners and opponents, playing each round until teams earned their rankings.
