New Signals Activated At State Road 581, Eagleston Boulevard

The new signals at the intersection were brought online Monday morning.

WESLEY CHAPEL, FL — The new traffic signals at the intersection of State Road 581 (Bruce B. Downs Boulevard) and Eagleston Boulevard (first intersection south of State Road 54) were put into full operation around 11 a.m. Monday.

Drivers are advised to be prepared to stop in all directions and be alert as drivers become accustomed to the change.

The intersection signalization is part of a $2.1 million project to improve safety on the northern section of SR 581.
