Pasco County Fair Underway; Runs Through Sunday

PASCO COUNTY, FL — The 75th annual Pasco County Fair, sponsored by AdventHealth, continues through Sunday with midway rides, daily entertainment, bluegrass and gospel music, livestock shows and, of course, fair food.

The fair will be open from 8 a.m. to midnight Saturday and noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Pasco County Fairgrounds, 36722 State Road 52, Dade City.

There will be an Unlimited Midway Ride Special for $30 per wristband Saturday, Feb. 26

One child will be admitted free with one paid adult and an unlimited $30 ride wristband Sunday, Feb. 27.

• Pasco County Fair Demolition Derby Smash Up at 7:30 p.m. at the Racetrack Arena.
• Miss Pasco Princess & Mister Pasco Prince Baby Pageant Saturday Feb. 26, at 10:30 am.

The fair kicked off with the annual parade on opening day led by grand marshals David and Howard Bellamy of The Bellamy Brothers, native Pasco musicians.

Winners were:

• Best Overall/Best Theme/Best Commercial Unit: Calvary Assembly of God
• Best Civic: PHS Football & Cheerleading Float
• Best Marching Unit: PHS FFA (Dade City FFA)

The Miss Teen Pasco was held Jan. 30. Crowned Miss Pasco County 2022 was Anastasia Valimaki and named Miss Pasco County's Outstanding Teen 2022 was Larkin Mainwaring. Both will represent Pasco County at Miss Florida in the Summer of 2022. Congratulations ladies.
