Sate Southeast Asian Grill, a local Chipotle-style Asian eatery that serves fresh food from Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam is now serving bubble tea, often called boba, on their menu.
Bubble tea originates from Taiwan and was invented there in the 1980s and has taken the United States by storm in the last decade. Most drinks contain a tea base which is mixed with fruit or milk and is often made into a smoothie.
Drinks normally come with tapioca pearls that are like gummy bears and are sweet and chewy. Sate is featuring 5 flavors at launch for their bubble tea: Taro, Honeydew, Strawberry, Coconut, and Chai.
A bubble tea drink will cost customers $3.75 which is in the usual price range of boba ($3-$5). If you love sweet beverages or something new, check out the boba menu at Sate Southeast Asian Grill.
