$1M-Winning Mega Millions Ticket Sold At FL 7-Eleven
With no big winner in the last drawing, Friday evening's Mega Millions jackpot has jumped to $607 million.

FLORIDA — While no one hit the jackpot in Tuesday’s $563 million Mega Millions drawing, someone who bought a ticket in Florida is $1 million richer.
The ticket was bought at a 7-Eleven in Port St. Lucie, according to the Tallahassee Democrat.
It matched all five winning numbers pulled during Tuesday’s drawing — 6, 18, 26, 27 and 49 — but didn’t match the No. 4 Mega Ball that was drawn, winning the game’s second-tier prize of $1 million, according to the Florida Lottery website.

The optional Megaplier number chosen ahead of the drawing, which would have multiplied the winnings if ticket holders paid for the add-on, was 3X. The $1 million-winning ticket holder didn’t opt for the Megaplier.
There were no jackpot-winning tickets sold in Tuesday’s drawing.

Across the U.S., 27 tickets matched the four white balls plus the Mega Ball to win the third-tier prize. With the Megaplier applied, six of those tickets are worth $30,000. The other 21 third-tier winning tickets will take home the standard $10,000 each.
The jackpot has jumped to an estimated $607 million for the next drawing, which takes place Friday at 11 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Ticket sales shut down at 10 p.m. EST.
It’s now the eighth-largest jackpot in Mega Millions history, according to the game's website.
In this current jackpot run, there have been more than 15 million winning tickets at all non-jackpot prize levels, ranging from $2 up to $4 million. These include 26 second-tier prizes of $1 million or more, won in 17 different states from coast to coast: Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas and Virginia.
