1. 23-year-old Clermont native Kaylin Whitney is going for gold at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. She has ran track since she was 7 years old. She is being trained by three-time Olympian Dennis Mitchell. (Spectrum News 13)

2. Disney Cruise Line is set to resume sailings out of Port Canaveral next month on August 9th, the company announced on Friday. The company hosted its first test cruise with cast members on the Disney Dream last weekend. (Click Orlando)

3. A Port Orange man will spend two years in prison for not informing sex partners he was infected with HIV. He pleaded no contest Thursday to one count of uninformed HIV-infected sexual intercourse. The two other counts were dropped. (WESH)

4. A back to school event is offering free backpacks today. Faith Assembly Church is hosting back-to-school events at 9 a.m. until supplies last. The church branches plan to distribute 2,500 backpacks to families in the Central Florida area. (Orlando Weekly)

5. A man who works as an armed security officer has been arrested after firing multiple gunshot into his neighbor’s home while celebrating Fourth of July, according to police. (WFTV)
