- One of the appointees to the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District board by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has resigned. It was previously known as the Reedy Creek board and is a major part of the dispute between Walt Disney Company and Florida's government. The appointee's wife was recently appointed to the Florida Supreme Court. No reason was given for the resignation. (Click Orlando)
- An Osceola County Sheriff's Office employee from Polk County is accused by authorities of filing a false police report, stalking, grand theft and accessing an electronic device without permission. Police allege she shared a couple's personal information on social media and allegedly lied about photos being taken of her. (WFTV)
- The Boys & Girls Club in Parramore held a remembrance last Friday for three members killed in gun violence. The Orlando Police Department (OPD) is working to lower violence by holding weekend events this summer. Families of the victims attended the event. (Spectrum News 13)
- Winter Park's local government is considering purchasing the Winter Park Playhouse property to try and keep the professional theater company in its current space. The property is currently on the market for $4.25 million. It was last sold for $98,000 in 1978, according to Orlando Business Journal. (WFTV)
- Ace Cafe has shut its doors in Orlando, according to a social media post made on Facebook this past weekend. Several news outlets had announced earlier in the month that the property was being sold to a developer. It remains unclear what will happen to the building now. (Bungalower)

- An Orlando woman is facing DUI and reckless driving charges after allegedly crashing her vehicle into Smyrna Dunes Park, according to police. Authorities said she nearly hit a child and was moving at 50 mph. (Click Orlando)
