- Disney is celebrating Pride month with The Disney Pride Collection and Pride treats at theme parks in Orlando as well as Disney resorts and Disney Springs, including restaurants. The release comes amid a public battle with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis over Florida's "Don't Say Gay" law and what Disney alleges is retaliation against the company. (Orlando Weekly)
- An Orange County woman was allegedly stabbed in the throat by her roommate on Tuesday night during an argument between the two, according to authorities. The suspect was arrested and charged with attempted murder. The incident happened in the 500 block of MacArthur Drive. (Click Orlando)
- Seminole County hosted drills and workshops this week ahead of the 2023 hurricane season with staff. Last year's Hurricane Ian storm cost over $300 million in damages. About 1 out of 4 Floridians are expected to ignore hurricane warnings, according to AAA. Residents are encouraged to prepare for the season. (Spectrum 13)
- A couple was found dead in Port St. Lucie on Saturday after a welfare check by police. The female victim was allegedly stabbed to death by her fiancé, who then shot and killed himself, according to authorities. The incident happened in the 5500 block of NW Torino Parkway. The couple was discovered due to a crying baby. (WESH)
- Amtrak, which has a station in Orlando, has launched a summer sale deal with one-way fares at $19 for adults and $9.50 for children ages 2 to 12. Travel needs to be booked from June 1 to Sept. 4 for the deal. There are no blackout dates. (Fox 35)
