1. A 15-year-old boy has been arrested in the shooting death of another 15-year-old in Orange County, police said on Tuesday. The shooting was reported at 4:40 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of 2nd Street near Ocoee. (Click Orlando)

5. An award-winning science journalist and author who later became the mayor of Apalachicola, Florida, has died. Kevin Begos was 63 years old. His past work was found at The Tampa Tribune, The Associated Press, Winston-Salem Journal, and he was published in a book on the origins of wine. (WMFE)
