Florida Man Caught Bringing Gun, Ammo Into Disney: Sheriff
Deputies said they were called to Disney Springs in Buena Vista where they recovered ammo and a handgun with a missing serial number.
ORLANDO, FL — A Florida man trying to get into Disney didn't get very far after security found a gun and ammo in his backpack at the entrance checkpoint, Orange County deputies said.
Aaron Josue Lopez, 35, of Royal Palm Beach has been charged with carrying a concealed firearm without a license.
On May 27, Orange County deputies said they were called to a parking garage at Disney Springs in Buena Vista after they received a call about someone carrying a gun.

According to an arrest affidavit, Disney's security system alerted staff when Lopez tried to walk through it to get into the park.
Lopez was then taken aside for further screening. As a Disney security officer prepared to search his bag, deputies said Lopez told them he had a folding knife in it.

"I [Disney security officer] told him to show me the knife, then I said I would have to search his bag. Still hasn't put it on the table at this point," a portion of the affidavit reads."Then he proceeds to say 'Oh, there's something else in here besides a knife that I wanna put back in my car.'"
Authorities said Lopez quickly turned around and walked away from the screening. He was then stopped by another cast member. A Disney security manager issued Lopez a trespass notice, preventing him from setting foot on Disney properties, the affidavit reads.
Security also found the gun and ammo in his backpack, deputies said.
"We checked the firearm for a serial number none could be located. We were told by Aaron that the
firearm is a Glock clone and he has to submit paperwork to the state to have a serial number assigned," the affidavit states.
Deputies said they found no evidence in any law enforcement database that Lopez had a valid concealed firearm license.
Lopez was taken to the Orange County jail where he has since been released, jail records show.
