Giving Machine at the Altamonte Springs Mall- A Great Family Giving Activity

The Light the World Giving Machine, a giving-focused vending machine sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Instead of buying a drink or a snack at these unique machines, those choosing to give through Dec. 14 can purchase in-demand donation items on behalf of those in need locally. The Osceola Council on Aging was one of the charitable organizations that benefitted from the Central Florida machine location, and donors purchased 380 items valued at over $8,500, including “Fun for Seniors” packs, holiday meals and gift cards, senior bath bundles and pet care packs, as well as five medical alert systems.
