- Leiah Kitchen + Cellar is coming soon to downtown Orlando. Chef Omar Torres will lead the upscale dining effort that will focus on sustainability and locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant be inside the Hilton Garden Inn at 409 N. Magnolia St. (Orlando Weekly)
- Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is looking for workers at Orlando International Airport and hosting a job fair this weekend. Pay starts at $37,000. Candidates will need to bring two valid forms of state or federal identification and can pre-register online. (WESH)
- The federal judge in the case of Disney vs. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has withdrawn from the case. DeSantis previously asked for the judge to be removed, but his motion was denied. The judge is removing himself after discovering a "third-degree" relative of his owns 30 shares of stock from Disney. The case has been re-assigned to a judge appointed by former President Trump, who previously served in the administration of former Gov. Rick Scott. The judge is also a member of the conservative Federalist Society. (The Hill, The Federalist Society)
- A Florida woman was recently arrested by authorities at Oviedo Mall after her car caught fire with two children inside when she was allegedly shoplifting, according to officials. She is charged with neglect of a child with great bodily harm and first-degree arson. Officials said the children suffered from first-degree burns in the incident. (WFTV)
- Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias, and Ricky Martin are coming to Orlando's Amway Center for a concert tour this year on Oct. 14. VIP packages are available for those interested. Tickets will go on sale on Friday, June 9 at 10 a.m. EST. (Fox 35 Orlando)
