- Three adults were injured in a shooting incident on Monday night at a block party gathering in an Orlando parking lot near West Washington Street at Coburn Avenue, according to authorities. Police said all three victims are in stable condition. No further information is available as of Tuesday evening. (Click Orlando)
- El Niño is not expected to cause major changes in temperatures throughout Florida, including the Central Florida area. Temperatures could be slightly warmer in August. El Niño is a naturally occurring warming of the surface waters in the central and eastern Pacific Ocean. (Patch Florida)
- Two new retail shops in Mills 50 are holding its grand opening celebrations on Saturday, June 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Glitzfully and Do Tell Stationery and Designs are the newest stores in the busy area. The businesses join a growing retail area. (Bungalower)
- Two men were shot in Central Florida's unincorporated Sanford on Monday, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office. One man has died in the incident and police are searching for a suspect. The shooting incident happened in the Bookertown neighborhood on Gilbert Street at around noon. (WESH)
- Orange County is considering buying out homeowners who were impacted by Hurricane Ian after continuous flooding. The county is exploring using Federal Hazard Mitigation Assistance grants. The homes would be demolished and replaced with parks or stormwater management. (WFTV)
