- The Lake Eola Heights Historic Neighborhood Association is hosting its 10th biennial tour of its private gardens in the Central Florida neighborhood. The viewing tour is Sunday, March 26 from noon to 5 p.m. Proceeds will benefit the Lake Eola Heights Historic District and the Orange Preservation Trust. (Bungalower)
- Orange County Public Schools unveiled its first six all-electric school buses on Monday. The district is trying to determine if electric buses can meet the needs of county. An electric bus can only travel 100 to 200 miles on a single charge. (WFTV)
- Police said an elderly Florida woman on a motorized scooter was spotted in a busy area of Interstate-4 on Sunday. Orlando police said no arrests were made and no injuries were reported. Police said they received at least nine calls from people reporting the woman between 4:44 p.m. and 5:01 p.m. Sunday. (Click Orlando)
- Brightline's "Orange 2" higher-speed train is now in Orlando. Brightline's trains can reach speeds of 125 mph, a major improvement over freight trains. The Associated Press named Brightline the most dangerous rail line in the nation, although no deaths have been blamed on the rail company itself. (Fox 35)
- The Orlando Cat Café, located at 532 Cagan Park Ave. in Clermont, is hosting a premium tea event in May for Mother's Day on May 14. Tickets are $45 per person for a two-hour experience. (Orlando Weekly)
