Orange County Public Schools: Graduation Rate Continues Above State Average

The Florida Department of Education released the 2020-21 graduation rates for the state, school districts and high schools.

The Florida Department of Education released the 2020-21 graduation rates for the state, school districts and high schools. The district average graduation rate among its 20* traditional high schools is 98.4%. The graduation rate of all Orange County Public Schools, which includes traditional and charter schools, is 90.4%. This rate continues to outpace the state’s 90.1% average. “We are so proud of the work by students, instructional teams, administrators and support staff who, even during a pandemic, continue to lead our students to success,” Deputy Superintendent Maria Vazquez said. In addition, Apopka High School increased its rate by 3.7 percentage points from 93.9 to 97.6, the largest gain in the district.
