- Orlando City SC will be host its annual jersey reveal party for fans on Saturday, Feb. 18 at Exploria Stadium in Orlando. The festivities will kick off at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 and available online with proceeds going to the Orlando City Foundation. (Bungalower)
- The friends and family of a victim tragically killed in a car crash last year are remembering their loved one by passing out free traffic emergency lights with the goal of preventing a future incident. Haley Boggs, a former student at UCF, died at the age of 21 years old in April of 2022. (Fox 35 Orlando)
- Café 34 Istanbul on International Drive in Orlando held a fundraiser on Monday for the victims of the Turkey and Syria earthquake, where more than 36,000 people have been reported dead. Dozens of people attended the fundraiser. (WESH)
- Universal Orlando Resort announced Tuesday that the theme park and entertainment company will raise base pay to $17 an hour. President and COO Karen Irwin announced in a letter to employees that the base pay rate will increase as of June 4, 2023. The company will also increase its 401K match and tuition reimbursement programs and boost a number of other employee benefits. (WFTV)
- Orange County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting at the 5600 block of Long Iron Drive on Monday at around 3:42 p.m, according to officials. Two people were reportedly injured in the incident. The victims declined to prosecute the alleged shooters. (Click Orlando)
