  1. Little Lake Fairview is closed for aquatic herbicide treatment today, March 9, according to an alert from City of Orlando. Local residents are advised to not use the lake for irrigation and restrict pet access for at least one day following treatment. (Bungalower)
  2. Orlando's bar and nightlife industry is breathing a little easier after proposed changes to a planned ordinance in downtown Orlando. Changes made to the planned ordinance include lowering the amount of police officers businesses would need to hire, a removal of equipment needed for safety, as well as private security guard requirements.   3. Music Fest Orlando is coming this month to Central Florida. Planned artists at the event include Fantasia, Babyface, Plies, KowKow, and more. The festival will occur on Saturday, March 25 at 1 p.m. at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. Tickets are now available. (Orlando Weekly)
  4. A bicyclist is dead after a collision on Tuesday night in Port Orange. The incident happened at the intersection of US-1 and Meeker Place around 8 p.m. The male bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident and anyone with information is asked to contact authorities. (WESH)
  5. A middle school student from Polk County is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly stabbing a classmate Wednesday during a fight at the school, according to authorities. The incident happened at Westwood Middle School and the school went on lockdown afterward. (WFTV)
