1. Disney employees including those employed at its Orlando theme parks have 60 days to get vaccinated for COVID-19 according to a new company policy. The company said vaccines are the "best tool we all have to help control this global pandemic and protect our employees." (WMFE)

2. The Hammered Lamb restaurant in Orlando’s Ivanhoe Village is requiring customers to wear masks indoors again as cases rise. This comes two days after Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings declared a local state of emergency. (Click Orlando)

3. Polk County has extended its rental assistance deadline to August 13th as the federal eviction moratorium expires. The funding can provide up to $12,000 in assistance directly to landlords, property management and utility companies on behalf of qualifying Polk County residents. (WESH)

4. Orange County Public Schools is offering $200 to employees who receivea COVID-19 vaccine as an incentive. The district will use $5 million from Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief II federal funds to pay for it. (Click Orlando)

5. A woman was accused of pulling out a gun during an argument inside a Publix deli on South Semoran Boulevard, according to police. She is charged with aggravated assault with a firearm and improper exhibition of a firearm. (Fox 35 Orlando)
