Pulmonary Wintercourse Conference Educates Physicians on Lung Health
Pulmonary Wintercourse Conference Returns to Orlando to Educate Physicians on the Latest Lung Health Cases, COVID-19

Today, the American Lung Association announced that the annual Pulmonary Wintercourse Conference will return to Disney Contemporary Resort in Orlando from January 20- 22, 2023. This event was rescheduled from September due to Hurricane Ian.
The Pulmonary Wintercourse Conference is a continuing medical education conference that has been facilitated for over 42 years, covering the Florida and Georgia area. The conference brings together pulmonary physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and others healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with lung disease. At the event, leading experts will present on the latest developments and techniques in the diagnosis and management of adults and children with lung disease.
This year, the conference will also feature topics from the Tri-State Consecutive Case conference discussing current cases in lung disease and state-of-the-art keynote speaker. The Tri-State Consecutive Case Conference has been facilitated for more than 65 years and covers the Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina area.

This year’s conference will include our keynote speaker Peter Mazzone, Director of the Lung Cancer Program at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Additional presentations include:
- Interstitial Lung Disease Guidelines, presented by Hassan Baig, MD, from Mayo Clinic
- ECMO Acute Respiratory Failure, presented by Kapilkumar Patel, MD, from the University of South Florida
- Long Haul Respiratory Diseases, presented by Karel Calero, MD
- Cases, presentations, networking and more.
