U.S. Anesthesia Partners Helps Out at Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida in Orlando
Volunteers sort and pack food for individuals and families in need to help alleviate hunger.

Volunteers from U.S. Anesthesia Partners' (USAP) Florida practice came to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida in the Mercy Drive neighborhood on September 19 to sort and pack food items for individuals and families in need.
The event was part of USAP Cares Week's annual nationwide volunteer program. Over the course of seven days, 385 USAP team members and their families across the country came together for 27 volunteer events, contributing 975 hours of service and more than $15,000 in donations impacting an estimated 45,000 lives.
Second Harvest Food Bank is a nonprofit organization working to end hunger across Brevard, Lake, Marion, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Volusia counties. Each day, more than 300,000 meals are provided for families, kids and seniors facing hunger through a network of feeding partners.

Second Harvest Food Bank seeks to alleviate hunger in Central Florida, where 1 out of 7 individuals face hunger and 1 out of 6 kids live in households that are food insecure.
USAP is a physician-owned and clinician-led organization dedicated to providing high-quality anesthesia services. USAP anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists and certified anesthesiologist assistants work in more than 700 facilities across the country to provide anesthesia care for more than 2 million cases annually. USAP's over 4,500 clinicians have expertise in many anesthesia subspecialties, including pediatric, cardiac and OB anesthesia.
