Vanesa Rodriguez joins Colliers Retail Services team in Central Florida

ORLANDO, FL, Oct. 3, 2025 – Vanesa Rodriguez, a commercial real estate expert with more than 17 years of industry experience, has joined Colliers as associate vice president, retail services in Central Florida. Rodriguez will join David Gabbai, Alexie Fonseca and Jeff Johnson as part of The Gabbai-Fonseca Retail Team. She will specialize in tenant and landlord representation and identify new and existing opportunities in the Central Florida market.

Throughout her career, Rodriguez has negotiated more than 300 transactions totaling more than $350 million. She specializes in soft goods retail and has worked with brands such as Sketchers, Five Below, Sam’s Club, Foot Locker and Curaleaf. Prior to joining Colliers, Rodriguez served as senior director for Katz & Associates, a retail advisory firm representing clients across the Eastern United States.

The addition of Vanesa to The Gabbai-Fonseca Retail Team will allow the award-winning Colliers team to expand their reach outside of Florida by offering retail redevelopment services to developers across the Southeast. They are currently working with developers in Florida and Tennessee.

Rodriguez earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of Florida and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). She joins Jeff Johnson, associate vice president, Lynsey Alegria, senior client services specialist, and Hector Negron, senior client services coordinator on The Gabbai-Fonseca Retail Team.
