BAY LAKE, FL — A TikTok star was recently afforded the chance to enjoy a day at Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom for only $8.
In a video that had about 8.8. million views Wednesday afternoon, TikToker Matthew Ables said he found a relic from his family's past: an unused Magic Kingdom ticket from 1978 with no expiration date.
"It's been collecting dust since before I was born, and I always just assumed that it was just an old family keepsake 'til I realized that it's never been used and there's no expiration date," Ables said in the video, adding he may have found the "golden ticket."

"I can't believe that actually worked," he said in the video.

Coincidentally, Ables is seemingly not the only person to be granted access to Walt Disney with a decades-old ticket. Per comments on the video, one person said they were able to enter with a 1981 ticket while another mentioned gaining entry with a 1993 ticket.
According to a policy from Walt Disney World, the popular Florida attraction will accept all old tickets that have not yet expired.
"Walt Disney World Resort continues to honor all unexpired theme park tickets with remaining admission days. For dated theme park tickets, you may be able to change the date on your tickets," the resort says on its website.
