Woman Ejected From Car In Fatal Crash: Police

She was pronounced dead at the scene and the crash remains under investigation, police said.

ORANGE COUNTY, FL — A woman was ejected from a car in a fatal overnight crash in southwest Orange County, according to police.

The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. Sunday on southbound State Road 429 near Western Way, Florida Highway Patrol said. A 2016 Volkswagen Passat was traveling in the inside lane when the driver lost control, ran off the road and hit a guardrail, which ejected her from the car, according to police.

She was pronounced dead at the scene and the crash remains under investigation, police said.
